2. Age Restrictions for the Supply of Alcohol
2.1 In accordance to the Licensing Act 2003 it is an offence for any person under the age of 18 to buy, or attempt to buy, intoxicating liquor subject to a maximum fine of £1,000, or for any person over the age of 18 to buy intoxicating liquor on behalf of any person under the age of 18, subject to a maximum fine on conviction of £5,000.
2.2 Pursuant to the Licensing Scotland Act 2005 it is an offence for any person under the age of 18 to buy, or attempt to buy, intoxicating liquor subject to a maximum fine of £200, or for any person over the age of 18 to buy intoxicating liquor on behalf of any person under the age of 18, subject to a maximum fine on conviction of £5,000 and or 3 months imprisonment.
2.3 Henny’s Wine is committed to upholding both its legal and social obligations as a retailer of intoxicating liquor. The company has control checks throughout the purchase and distribution process (e.g. requesting the customer's date of birth when the order is placed and requesting age identification on delivery where the recipient appears to be under the age of 18).
2.34 In making a purchase of alcohol from henny’s wine you are accepting these Terms & Conditions and you agree to provide henny’s wine truthful and accurate information and act in accordance with the Licensing Act of 2003 or where applicable the Licensing Scotland Act 2005.
3. Payment
3.1 Payment is due at the time of ordering.
3.3 We accept major debit and credit cards including Visa, Mastercard and American Express.
3.4 If you subscribe before the 20th of each month, wines will be delivered on the last Wednesday, Thursday, Friday or Saturday of the month. If you order between the 20th and last day of the month, your wines will be delivered on the last Wednesday, Thursday or Friday of the following month.
4. Delivery
4.1 Please see our delivery page for full details.
4.2 henny’s wine will not be held responsible for delivery failures beyond our reasonable control.
4.3 Estimates for delivery times are best-possible indications only and are not intended to be binding.
5. Out-of-stock, non-delivery, cancellations and refunds
5.1 If you believe a wine from henny’s wine is spoilt or if a bottle has broken then we will replace it with the same wine or if this is not possible another wine of similar value.
5.2 Sometimes wines may go out of stock. We shall contact you to inform you of any potential delay or offer you an alternative wine of equal value.
5.3 Claims for non-delivery must be made within two weeks of your order date.
6. Data Protection
6.1 henny’s Wine is bound by the Data Protection Act 1998.
6.2 All information (including credit card details) is sent and received using certified secure e-commerce software.
7. Intellectual Property
7.1 All copyright, database rights, trademarks and any other intellectual property rights in and to the content on this website, such as text, graphics, logos, banners, images, buttons, are the sole property of henny’s wine.
7.2 Permission is granted to electronically copy, and to print in hard copy, portions of this website for the sole purpose of placing an order with henny’s Wine or using this website as a shopping resource.
8. Privacy Policy
8.1 Please be aware that by using the site, information and data may be automatically collected through the use of Cookies. “Cookies” are small text files that store basic information that a web site can use to recognise repeat site visits and, as an example, recall your email address or username if this has been previously supplied. 10. Retention of Title
10.1 Title to our Goods shall remain vested in henny’s wine and shall not pass to you (the Buyer) until the purchase price for our Goods has been paid in full and received by us.
